Your career data belongs to you. This policy explains what Pathfolio collects, why we need it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect
Account information you provide, such as your name, email address, and sign-in details; profile information including job title, skills, work preferences, salary expectations, preferred locations, and CV; activity such as jobs you save, pass, or apply to and messages exchanged through the app; and limited device information used for authentication, security, and reliability.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to match you with relevant jobs, operate and improve Pathfolio features such as personalized recommendations and the AI Interview Coach, communicate about your account and application activity, deliver alerts you request, and detect or respond to fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
How We Share Information
We share information with employers only when you choose to apply to a role. We also use trusted authentication, hosting, analytics, AI, and payment providers that process data on our behalf. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Job Data Sources
Job listings in Pathfolio are aggregated from public job boards and partner APIs. Pathfolio is not the employer for a listed role and does not control third-party hiring decisions.
Your Choices
You can edit your profile, preferences, and notification settings in the app. You can permanently delete your account from Profile › Delete Account, or begin a deletion request using the account-deletion page on this website.
Data Retention
We retain personal information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Account deletion removes your profile, activity, CV, and messages from our active systems within 30 days. We may retain limited information when required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.
Security
We use safeguards including encryption in transit and access controls. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so use a strong, unique password and the security features offered by your sign-in provider.
Children’s Privacy
Pathfolio is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can investigate and delete it.
International Users
Pathfolio and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and its effective date and provide additional notice where required.
